AFL

AFL is an Australian sport, it consists of an oval ground and 4 goal posts at each end of the ground. The teams are 2 teams which play on the ground, each consist of 18 player. The skills in this game involve hand-balling  kicking, running, and strength. AFL is a contacts sport, the aim of the game is to bring the ball using down the field to score a goal. The ball used in the game is an oval shape like American football, or rugby.

Basic Rules Of The Game- every rule that is broken, a free kick is paid.

(free kick is when you are allowed to kick it without the worry of being tackled)
You cannot throw the ball, it must be rested in one hand and knocked of that hand by the other one.
You can only run 16 steps before without bouncing the ball.
You have to kick the ball more than 15 metres for a mark to be payed. ( a mark is when a player on your team catches the ball and no one can tackle him, he has full possession of the ball.)
When you tackle someone, it has to be below the shoulders. Otherwise a free kick is payed to the opposition.
You cannot push your opponent in the back.
If the ball is covered during a kick, the mark will not be payed.
The ball has to be disposed of in a tackle, if you hold on to for a long time, or dispose of it incorrectly, a free kick will be paid.
